Hello

Do you know any software (freeware if possible, otherwise, it is ok), that could let me repair pdf files?
I just tried
<a href="https://www.pdf-tools.com/osa/repair.aspx" target="_blank">https://www.pdf-tools.com/osa/repai...</a>
and it works pretty well.
However I tried with Advanced pdf repair v2.0 and it does not work because it does not repair the pdf file, it just returns blank pdf files as output and when I open them they are just blank documents.

Could you please tell me any other (not online) application which could be run in batch mode and is reliable to recover this pdf files?

Thanks

Keep in mind that you can't expect mirracles, if the file is too messed up, nothing will recover it.

I've never had much luck recovering corrupted pdf files. One thing I have noticed though, is that Macintosh computers can sometimes open files that won't open in Acrobat Professional on a PC. The permissions are set up differently on Macs for some reason and a friend of mine used to be able to open and edit password protected pdfs on her Mac too. That may have changed in the last year but if you know someone with a Mac you might ask them if they can open it. Also, Graphic Designers work with pdfs all the time and one in your area may know a trick or two that can help you.
