hi
recently, my wireless has stopped working
after receiving a couple of blue screen of deaths, i restarted and now the adapter says connected but it will not work
i have an asus p5k-e wifi
ps: the network is fine, because i can connect with my psp and i already tried 2 networks, both will not work
in network properties, it shows as connected and packets are sent/received
please tell me the best option i have to make this work

when i run ipconfig, a black window pops up and disappears, it also does not run from c/windows/sys32

Define not working. If you can go to the router admin, but not the Internet, it's DNS. Probably your router or DSL/Cable modem. A power cycle should fix it. If not, call up your ISP.

If you can go online with PSP, then it's not DNS. It's prolly your pc.

Try hooking up your pc to the router as a test. Can you see the Web? If so, then it's your wifi card. Try:

START, RUN, CMD

Enter these lines:

ipconfig /flushdns
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Uninstall wifi driver from device manager, restart pc, install driver, check it out.
