Thinking of purchasing this to run two 8800 GTS 320s in SLI, mostly for DX10 using Home Premium (Vista).

nVidia (tech support) says the 650i chipset supports SLI mode in Vista, however this is listed on the MSI website:

" SLI Technology only supports 32-bit and 64-bit Windows XP"

http://www.msicomputer.com/product [...] m&class=mb

Anyone know for a fact whether MSI's offering of the 650i will support SLI in Vista?

Thanks,

I'm building a system with that mobo right now but I can't answer your question though. Box has a certified for Windows Vista sticker on it which would be funny for an SLI mobo that couldn't do SLI in Vista.

Anyway, [H] has an 82 page thread on this mobo, maybe you'd find an answer searching that thread: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1164174

Are the drivers even workable at this point? Any idea when new ones will come aloing for SLI in Vista on the 650i?

How are the vista drives for the 680i (EVGA) for SLI with two 8800 GTSes?

Noob
