I was wondering would i be smart to get a anti-virus and a firewall separate
ex. ESET&(STILL DECIDING ON THE FIREWALL,any suggestions would be good)

...or is it safer/better to get it in one suite?
ex. Trend Micro Suite

avira free antivirus or avast free antivirus,plus pc tools firewall plus free edition,and free malewarebytes spyware scanner.An awesome free security suite!

If you are using windows vista/7 then getting only the antivirus solution will be enough as the built in windows firewall is plenty good..
