I had a gaming desktop running on XP and a laptop (vista ) both runnning on wireless.

Now, the lappy would drop the internet (drops to local mode) alot, but now that my new desktop is vista its doing the same damn thing, any ideas? tryed a local unpassworded network and got on fine (he was using a POS 3rd party router).

the internet is fine (shaw cable) any ideas why vista would keep droping the internet on my network? and only with this router?
