Hi, I was wondering how to use my computer as a phone to recieve calls. I don't want to forward them, but i essentialy want to use my computer as another phone. Could this be done through skype, or any other program for free??

Sorry no in 2006 skype offered free calls in north america and canada.

 

Now it's $30 a year

 

Raketu is free but there are certain countries that it charges for. They charge you $9.95 as a startup credit in case you call anywhere not in the 42 country listing but you can't yet register a number for people to call you.

 

VoipCheap is free as long you don't break 300 minutes a week to the same IP. After that they nail you.
