I have installed a wireless adapter and an email client (Eudora) on a win 2000 professional computer as administrator. However, neither works properly when I sign on as a user. Why is this, and how can I remedy it?

Some products don't work too well if the user is not an admin. Check support for the products to see what the requirements are. I don't remember if Windows 2000 has a "install for all users" option during setup of software, you can try to re-install them and make sure you check that off if/when you see it.
