Hello

I tried adding some memory to my computer and now I cannot get anything to come up on the monitor. It just stays blank.

If you get nothing at all, not even the BIOS screens, then it's a problem with the new memory. Try removing it and see if the computer boots. Are you sure that you purchased the correct memory for your motherboard?

I took out the new memory stick and put the old memory stick back in and still nothing.

Diffucult to know what else to suggest. Do you not get any display at all?

I would be inclined to ask someone knowledgable to look at it for you.
