I USED THIS METHOD FOR A CLEAN INSTALL OF WIN95b using a WIN98 BOOT DISK (SAVES A TON OF HASSLE) http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm AND MY ORIGINAL OEM WIN95b INSTALL DISK
INSERT WIN95 INSTALL DISK IN CD DRIVE WITH YOUR COMPUTER POWER TURNED ON, SHUT DOWN COMPUTER
WITH YOUR COMPUTER TURNED OFF, INSERT THE BOOT DISK.
1. TURN ON THE COMPUTER.
2. WHEN THE COMPUTER'S BOOTED UP DO THE FOLLOWING...
3. TYPE FDISK /MBR HIT ENTER
(THIS DESTROYS THE MASTER BOOT RECORD AND RE-CREATES IT.
4. TYPE FORMAT C: /U /S HIT ENTER
(THIS WILL FORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVE AND "SYS" IT. THIS MEANS INSTALL THE SYSTEM FILES NEEDED TO BOOT UP. WHEN IT'S DONE YOU MAY ENTER A NAME FOR THIS DRIVE IF YOU WISH… JUST HIT ENTER…
5. REBOOT THE COMPUTER WITH THE BOOT DISK.
6. TYPE D: HIT ENTER
7. TYPE SETUP HIT ENTER
