More Information

I have a spare rig that I am wanting to host a free 8 slot Ventrilo server off of (Might eventually pay and get more slots). I have fooled around with VentSrv on my friend's computer, and he's hosting it right now just until we get my rig running (having some issues). My question is, is it the same as hosting off and XP rig? I know I need to download the VentSrv for Linux, but does it just open in a Terminal and allow you to join as it does on XP?

Also, it says the Ventrilo-Linux client is currently under development, so I was wondering if the Windows i386 version of the Ventrilo client will work on Ubuntu using Wine?
