Forum Opinions and Experiences : Computer Shops MicroPro.ie in Rathfarnham - Poor Service?

My laptop got a virus recently and I brought it to MicroPro.ie on Nutgrove Avenue in Rathfarnham. It cost €109.00 to fix and took 8 days (3 longer than promised). The virus was cleaned up but i lost all 'My Documents' - photos, word docs etc. despite assurances from the store owner that I would not loose anything. I am still waiting for the engineer to return my numersous calls on this issue. The store looks nice and the owner has plenty of chat about ISO and how so many other computer shops are shams etc. I was sucked in but this level of service is very poor. I mentioned this to a few neighbours who also had poor experiences. Anyone else agree?

Couldn't agree more!!!

This shop is a nightmare!! The owner waffles on and on and hasn't actually got a clue.

They wrecked my laptop.

All be warned!!
