As stated first build, gaming, COD4, BF3, SWTOR ETC.
Some video editing for training videos.

I'm more of a corsair fan boy but I really like the power supply choice 80 plug Gold is a pretty solid way to go. I like the graphics card because AMD/ATi do a great job with video playback. As far as motherboards go though ASUS great brand but may want to look into Z68 chipsets only because they will be able to use the new ivy bridge cpu's and they will be ready to use pci express 3.0
