So I can connect no problem the first time. When I power off the laptop and moreso when the laptop hibernates, such as when I close it, I cannot reconnect to my router without resetting the router. Any ideas?

Oh by the way, Toshiba A105 series laptop. Buffalo WHR-G54S router if it matters.

Sound like the power management setting on your nb. Look at the advanced settings on the wireless card, CAM.
