wow.... thats the highest concentration of stereotypes and rumous I've ever seen in a single article (although I agree futuremark is crap and all benchmarks should be done in real world situations....)

Didn't Nvida tune their driver a while back to detect futuremark benchmarks and drop detail to improve their scores? I seem to remember seeing an article where they showed screen shots of an ATI and Nvida card rendering the dragon sceen from the 2001 version. On the Nvida render a whole bucket load of detail had been dropped.
