when I tried to ask a question about "AMD" or "amd" I got a message back saying a "flood attempt was detected" what the heck is that?

that is a spam attack trying to make many multiple commercial posts
you probably made too many posts within a ten minute period and
got flagged as flood attempt
you will see Toms get hit every so often usually selling prom dresses
and gucci bags LOL

Toms restricts how many posts you can make in a time period
So it is on Toms side not the OPs computer
But using Malwarebytes and running a updated full system scan in
SAFE mode is a really good idea anyway
MalwareBytes rocks!
