Hello!

I’m Alex and I work at Dare, one of Sony UK’s marketing agencies.

I thought you might like to know that we’re giving away a fantastic Sony product every day on our Sony UK Facebook page until next Friday the 25th June to celebrate the World Cup and our Trade in deal. Perhaps your readers might be interested too? All you have to do is become a fan [Like] of the page and enter your name into the prize draw here:

http://www.facebook.com/SonyUK?v=app_126907817341232

You could win a new BRAVIA, a Sony Reader, a Cybershot camera or many more products to make your World Cup experience and beyond more enjoyable.

If you would like any further information then do get in touch!

Best of luck!

Alex

Oh goodie - I could win a Sony Reader with dud Adobe software then both Sony and Adobe would deny responsibility and I'd be stuck with a £300 dinner plate. I can hardly wait. Then again, I'm never sure whether I'd rather open a Facebook account or a blood vessel - it's a toughie! :D

I'd rather open the blood vessel, since the pain and reduction in blood pressure would release endorphins in the brain, resulting in a pleasant euphoric sensation.

Of course, this is best attempted under the supervision of a qualified medical professional, since it is a potentially lethal method of getting off.

Since I live in South Africa, where all this world cup crap is happening, and I'm getting sick and tired of hearing those squashed-elephant-didgeridoo knockoffs referred to as 'vuvuzelas', I could actually use the powershot to photograph all of the inventive things I'd do with a vuvuzela and the person who just blasted one off in close proximity to me.

Although, since they're Sony products, and Sony are one of the more unpleasant corporations in the world, I'll pass, thanks.

Nothing wrong with the quality, usually. EVERYTHING wrong with the corporate politics.

Sony - You installed a root kit on my PC, you fcuk over users on numerous products and accessories. You avoid tax by establishing the PS3 as a computer then remove support in the 2nd gen models but still take the tax break. THEN you come on here and try to sell me more sh1t.

SONY - Go fcuk yourselves and your cracker whore marketing bitches like Dare.

The meeting where they decided to withhold support in the 2nd generation PS3 must have been interesting.

And the meeting with the Sony BMG CD rootkits...

It is actually quite a pity that Sony is evil, since some of their products are really cool. Apart from that Sony badge, that is...
