I use Badaboom on an 8800GT to convert videos for use on my phone, and it's really amazing! I'm looking to upgrade my video card, and looking at a 5770, but don't want to give up hardware encoding.

There have been some articles looking at AVIVO, Badaboom, and MediaShow, but nothing that I've seen recently. Doing an update / review / comparison of these would be great, now that they've had time to mature. Software vs software (ie Badaboom vs MediaShow), hardware vs hardware (ie NVidia CUDA vs ATI Stream), etc.

Please and thanks!

Brandon

If you are looking for an answer, you are probably better off posting in the GPU section

I was looking more for an article about it, rather than any specific answer, but you might be right. I'll post something in that section as well.
