Hi guys, could you do an article on home made NAS systems?

i always though the price you pay for a NAS was to high for the functionality it had...
could you do an article comparing some NAS systems available on retail and some home made ones, using like atom power systems, even throw in an athlon/phenom and maibe some of intels sockets?
i think home made NAS systems have a lot more value, and can even do cool things like serve some dedicated rooms for a few games even be an HTPC in some cases
you could compare the usual stuff like transfer rates, power usage etc, but some out of the ordenary stuff like performance per volume... something that might be important for some folk that are short on space at home or at the office...

i wouldnt mind testing this myself, but no money =P

thanks

Wrong section. This should be under the "Storage" section.
