OS:

Now, on to what I want this PC for:

I use Cygwin extensively, I also code Websites/Programs and I've been known to run Photoshop, Dreamweaver as well as a mess of over programs at the same time. I also am a gamer; I own a copy of Crysis L4D as well as other Games; so basically I want a PC that will be good for gaming as well as run my programs quickly as well as efficiently. I do have a few questions:

1. Is the ASUS Rampage II Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard better than the MSI Eclipse?

2. Do you think the price I'm paying for these parts is fair? ( $2,865.63 for everything including shipping )

3. Would you guys recommend anything else?

4. Please note, this is ALL I'm buying NOTHING more, I'd like to know if I need to buy any sort of grease or anything like that!

5. Does that DVD Driver write as WELL as read?

6. I've been looking into Liquid Cooling because knowing myself; I'll probably overclock that CPU; could you guys recommend something affordable that will last me a while and is Medium difficulty to build?

Thanks alot for your help guys!
