Greetings!

Question:
Of the single player games which ones have online authentications, limited activations?

Dead Space looks interesting... but is it going to have that stupid DRM crap on the PC version? Also... will Far Cry 2 have DRM? If so I think I will be canceling my pre-orders. Shame on you EA!.. shame on you. :non:

Dead Space is being published by EA, so it will have some form of SecuRom on it, most likely the 5 activation limit. Ubisoft has said that they aren't using SecurRom, but doesn't mean it won't have some form of DRM.

Oh right!.. With all this DRM/SecurRom around EA... not sure why I thought Far Cry 2 was being released be them. Having played all of Crytek's stuff I should know their publisher is Ubi.

Still doesn't change my thoughts off...

Shame on you EA!

Oh yeah... Thanks for answering the question. Maybe I'll pick it up Dead Space for my 360 instead so that I don't infect my machine with root kits... oh... I meant their "essential to the economic structure used to fund the games." Whatever that means. Sounds kinda like... "Thank you for buying our game. Now we are going to punish you since we can't get the people that are pirating our software. Have a nice day."

Actually, Crysis and Crysis Warhead are being published by EA.
Farcry and Farcry2 by Ubisoft. And Farcry2 isnt a Crytek game.
