I do quite abit of gaming. Recently i just fixed up my new pc with 7800GS AGP. I tried to get the latest driver.. think it's 97.31 or something like that.. but at max resolution, max setting, antiallising and such.. the game skips frame every second.

Later i revered back to 84.21 and it ran smoothly. My question is.. is there any better drivers out there or 84.21 is the most stable one to date?

I have 2 7800gt's in sli mode and I ran into problems with the later drivers as well.I did manage to get in contact with someone at nvida and i was assured that a fix was coming, just no actual release date. Please send your info to nvidia as it helps them to fix the bugs.Goodluck.Oh ya,I was going to tell you that I also use driver 84.21.This was what nvidia recommended I use for now until they make a patch.

Thx for the info :) guess i'll stick to 84.21 for awhile too The stability is astonishing when compared to the later drivers.. I tried loging Might and Magic Dark Messiah.. The graphics is extremely chopping and part hanging. Sound was repeating coz like overloading the CPU.. wiht 84.21 everything is picture perfect and smooth sailing
