Lest we forget. Those who died in the Turkish trenches were no less honourable than those that died in the British/NZ/Aussie trenches. They died fighting for their country, same as the ANZACs. Stupid politicians cause every war...

On a different note: Vegetarians FTL!

Nope, opposite of "for the win".

I'll support Tom's of Oz. I'll probably move there one day, and there had better be a Tom's when I arrive.

I have successfully designed and implemented a new shorthand language capable of unheard of levels of compression.

I'll give you the full algorithm ...

Pretty neat eh?

Nahh ... I just got annoyed and didn't like the look of my own words, (sound of my own voice) so instead of slapping myself or covering my mouth I edited my post.

I can see where this voting thing is going though.

It's going to be very bad for me up there in the CPU section ... the masters pets are all pro-Intel.

I'll get marked down to the point where I might as well leave.

A short answer to this question is similar to the "Tom's Hardware in Espanol" thread.

I'm getting a more complete answer later this week.

What happened to AMDfangirl?

Did she mess with the space time continuum & erase herself from existence or something?

Reply to DatmanII

Hey, I hope this explains her absence

Um if anyone's wondering where me or my posts are... (No I'm sure I didn't install a P4 in my toaster (wait I'm a Fruitarian so I don't have a toaster... :P)

Anyways this started when I decided to not implement any password protection on my computers and decided to get Firefox/Camino to save the password. Now my brother just got my computer, posted untrue facts (that were evil) and got me banned (he admitted it during dinner when he saw me with a dark unhealthy aura around me...

I feel like Phoebe when she got her guitar snatched by Chandler... Can't express my opinion anymore. (had to make a reference to Friends didn't I?)

I'm not sure quite what the state of play is at the moment but the ban was due to a post in the other that has now been removed. I'll not go into detail but lets just say that there is no way on earth the powers that be could let that post stay when coming from the account of a 14yr old girl. I found it very uncomfortable to read and I'm fairly shock resistant.

I'm really sorry for fangirl if her brother has managed to get her a perm-a-ban but in some ways I'm glad. Don't get me wrong I quite liked her style but she was somewhat short sighted in posting as many personal details as she did and the areas she tried to hang out in. Perhaps this incident will teach her about some of the risks in playing with computers.

Sorry kid but sometimes life teaches us the hard way...

Hey, looks like she posted some more stuff on the screenshot. Now I'm not going to quote her as I might get banned.

Reply to macgirlfriend

Regardless of the local issues I hope she is hitting the alt.revenge archives on usenet to get an idea of the various methods of causing pain for her brother..

I highly doubt that as she is one who tends to be pacifist and good in every possible way.
