Hello,

I have a problem with my DVD-RW of my laptop. I do not know the reason but I can not open it. The eject button does not function. I also tried to open it using the windows commands but still could not manage it.
Do you have an how I can open it?

Look for a small hole somewhere on the DVD drive, if it's there, stick a pin in it and your drive should pop right open. However you might not have one, in which case I wish you good luck.

im not sure if this is true for laptops, but on normal cd/dvd drives there is a hole which acts as a release button. usually i just straighten out a paper clip and push it in, then the tray jumps out a bit and i just pull it on out.

this may help you, but like i said im not sure if its the same for laptops
