I'm about to buy the following rig, all i basically want to know is with you peoples experience in overclocking what would be the best AM2 dual core processor to get and overclock with?

ASUS M32N-SLI Deluxe Wireless
250 Gb Western Digital WD2500KS Caviar SE16
Seasonic S12-600
1GB Corsair XMS2, DDR2 PC5400 (667), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered

17" Viewsonic VX724 Silver/Black TFT

any help you guys can help in my decision to buy a good overclockable cpu would be great, thanks.

they should all over clock kinda equally (im proprtion) world is yours. if u know your way around go for the +3800 but if not go for a 4600 which runs at 2.4 and just pump another 400 into it for a fx-62. price difference is not huge...

The 3800+ is fine otherwise. Got the 4000+ (same clock) running 266x10 with no extra voltage and stock cooler. So higher should be no problem.
