Hey guys,

First of all, english is not my native language so please be nice with me ! :)

Im a french student and I have this report to do, the topic i choosed is "how do you get a computer training company to go global? "

You know, computer training for professionals, like the ones "learning tree international " offers in the UK for exemple.

So, here's where I need you help. Any of you guys work in programming/ network/ stuffs like that?
Any of you has ever tried one of theses trainings ?

In france, there are a few laws wich says that companies have to offer trainings to its employees. So as you can imagine, it makes things easier for theses training companies to find some clients, and that s why it s a pretty big market in france.

For my report, I need to know if there is anything like that in the UK ? If not, Is it a common thing to go to trainings like this in the UK ? ( paid by your company, not by yourself)
Were you even aware that such companies existed ?
Any of you know any other UK based training companies ?

I hope you guys can help me on this and once again, sorry im my english isnt that great.

Cheers

Julien

Mandatory training from employers in the UK?? As much as we can mock the French now you know we're just a bunch of cucumber sandwich eating neo-liberal surrender monkeys
