Futuremark releases 3DMark06

Futuremark today released a new version of its 3DMark benchmark software. The new version 3DMark06 integrates more extensive use of Shader Model 3, including High Dynamic Range rendering, and makes use of the capabilities of dual-core processors. Blue screen error and system reboot with a 7900GT on a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra expert. New updated Video card drivers, both brand spanking new. 2 gig OCZ memory.

Anyone seen this before?

Yea i had the same thing happen to me. I have the exact same mobo and ram and card. Also for me the longer i played a game the more artifacts i saw. It turned out to be my 7900gt, I think it was a memory problem on the card. I just got an RMA and every thing works fine. You could try downloading coolbits and underclocking the card and see if that helps till you get your new card.

Dont underclock your card mate,you might as well have bought a cheaper, slower card. Check temps as this can cause freezes and blue screens. Could be anything really, from ram settings to cheap PSU not supplying enogh stable power. depends on your spec. Check your GPU temps first.
