More Information

Hi

I have recently bought a VA-20 motherboard and have trouble booting when I insert my Radeon 9700 into the AGP slot. The first time I insert the card it boots fine from the card, but as soon as I reset the PC, the screen goes blank and the power light just flashes (as if in standby). I don't see the BIOS, nothing. The PC doesn't even go into post.

I can get the PC to boot again only if I boot from the onboard card again AND remove the Radeon 9700 from the motherboard.

The system boots perfectly from the onboard card every time, but will only boot ONCE from the AGP (even when disabling the onboard card in the BIOS, which means I need to reset the BIOS after the second AGP boot).

Any help getting my Radeon 9700 working on this motherboard would be greatly appreciated since I don't want to rely on the onboard card.

Thanks
