I have a Chaintech 7NIF2 motherboard that previously ran a AMD 1700+ B... I replaced that processor with a 2800+ Barton, which the manufacturer says is supported.

I have the newest bios version available. Computer will not post whatsoever.

I have tried changing the FSB jumper from 133/166/200 to 100 and nothing changes. I have also cleared the cmos with the cmos jumper and have also removed the battery. I even tried swapping processors back out to no avail.

Any ideas would be helpful!
