Is everyone ok my sexy people!?

When did this crop up???

I finally have a response from the re-application to join the forces, though from my past of booze abuse, suicide attempts and self harm (which I knew they would want to know about) they have requested that I provide a description of my past experiences and the time period which I experienced them.

Also, they require that I provide evidence of my stability since the time within my social and professional life, having each confirmed by responsible adultsi n each field.

Does this mean for example, a doctor/psychologist. Or just someone who I have worked with for a number of years?

If they require that then they are asking for alot as I speak to no one from that time?

I would ask the RO, but the twats shut.

Chunty.

Good afternoon Chunt Funter

I'm sure that a certain Scouser would be happy to provide you with a 'descriptive' character reference.

Hope this helps.

I would have thought they would have jumped at the chance to have some cannon fodder.

I would imagine they would be after a reference from someone recent who can afirm what you are like now. Having a friend do it probably won't count. A doctor would be best as they would be detached or perhaps a friendly police officer saying how you have been no trouble to anyone.

Best ask the recruitment people, just tell them you are happy to charge into battle for a glorious death and they will be satisfied I am sure.

Given that killing people is one of the core job skills your failed efforts will hardly fill them with confidence.

It's going to be hard finding any "responsible adults" in a normal social life - I certainly don't know many in mine and I was a Naval Officer for several years. Your employers would be good enough on the work side and if the recruiters want professional psychological input, they'll commission it themselves.

Other posters seem wrongly to believe Armed Forces are made up only of psychopaths who want to kill people - in my country, fortunately, they strive to keep those elements out so if you have nothing to hide from a psych evaluation, stand up and volunteer for it.

Good luck.
