Would this be a good gaming pc and ok price

i decided to a gaming computer and since i lack the know how of being able to build one i thought i'd look up a custom build site and have a quick look at parts to learn what my limitations were for my money and wondered would this be good enough to run games on high while still being at a reasonable price of £560 also would it have any power or heating problems

type of games i would want to play are - l4d2,battlefeild bad company 2, WoW...

Hi ilikewaffles123 and welcome to the forums. Even though you said you "lack" the know how of building a computer, I can assure you that's it's easy as pie. I built my first one in 2008, I was 16 then. Trust me, you can find loads and loads of info on the Internet to help you build it, and don't worry if you think you'll plug something in the wrong place as all connectors have a specific port and you can't go wrong. The 1st plus of of DIY is that you can choose the components yourself (you're not restricted by the website that's building it for you). The 2nd and most important one is you can save a lot of money, potentially around 200pounds. Sounds enticing? Hope it does.
Now that games are getting more and more quad-core CPU optimized I would recommend a quad-core, especially if you want to play Bad Company 2.

Sry if this is a bit overbugdet. This is just to show you how much more you can get if you build it yourself. The case is quite good. Your motherboard is way better than the one you proposed, and it's ready to support the new 6-core CPUs from AMD. Your CPU is a MONSTER, it will also overclock really well if you want to. And last but not least the PSU, people always think they cant skimp on the PSU, wrong they are, if you cheapo generic PSU fails, which it will, it can take with it your whole PC. Well there you have it. Hopefully I haven't forgotten something.

scan also have some good deals, aria and overclockers too, all of which might get you a mobo cpu and ram combo a little cheaper, tbh unless you are into overclocking the market has made sure that a £100 cpu from intel or amd are similar else they wouldn't sell, obviously not the case with the EE processors or whena processor is new on the scene.

+1 to get a good psu, oversize it a little too in case you want to up your gpu at a later date, it'll run cooler, quieter and last longer too.

building is easy enough, be ready to ask questions if you get stuck, most things fit in one place one way, if it don't fit your trying to put it in the wrong place.

hmm 19x11 res, you'll be on the edge with the 5770, you'll have to drop image quality to get good fps.

luckily in the UK they cost <£20 so its no big deal. I got one for £15 from aria.co.uk recently.
