I have a the 8K9A7I board and recently put it into a new Chieftec case
with front USB and firewire connectors. I thought it would be nice
to connect my Gravis Destroyer Xtreme joystick to the front USB port
on those rare times when I play games.

I have checked with chieftec and the pinout matches the motherboard.
When I connect the header and block my soundcard will no longer
function. I get an error code 12 (XP home) and a notice that there
are not enough resources.

Why am I getting this message and can this be fixed with a new driver
or BIOS flash. I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest VIA drivers but
I'm still running with the original BIOS the board shipped with.
