Just loaded the new BIOS update on this XP system and now it insists
on a parallel port although I don't use it and have it disabled in BIOS.

I get the error that the port driver failed to load at each boot. I
finally just enabled the port and XP seems satisfied but I don't like using
resources not needed.

Any idears on how to correct this or is this a glitch in the new BIOS?
