I can't seem to get my on-board Realtek AC97 to output true 5.1 on
SPDIF out. I get descreet right, center and left but no back or
subwoofer. I'm sure it's just an option.

Please assist.

Thought I'd post my fix:

I was using PowerDVD and for some reason, never saw the "use SPDIF"
option on Audio section. Duh.
