HI Folks,

Here's the situation. I have the K7SOM+ revision 5.xC (I think it's 5.2C,
but I'm not sure) mainboard with integrated everything (SiS) and 512 MB DDR
memory. It has a AMD Duron 1400+ Pro that typically clocked at around 1.01
GHz before I updated to the most recent AMIBIOS. Now it clocks at 945 MHz, a
drop of around 66 MHz. I believe I went from version 021210 to the latest
030807 dated 08/25/03. Can anybody tell me why the clock speed dropped when
I updated the BIOS? Thanks in advance.
