Hi, I just got a new ECS 848P-A. I want to use it for my kids' computer. I
have an older socket 478 1.6 GHz P4 with a 1.75V vcore. Will this older P4
work on the 848P-A?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I know it is compatible with the v2.0 motherboard, that's what I am currently using. If you set your FSB to 133MHz instead of 100MHz, you will get a stable and easy overclock to 2.13GHz.
