The less old machine at home sas a k7s5a mobo. I have no idea what exact
model. aida tells me the properties as at the bottom of this post.

Long story short - am going to make this machine an office type machine
for wife and get a new one built for current owner - son who likes games
etc.
What I need is a graphics card for the mobo that run a DVI output so I can
put a TFT on it.
desk space for home machine not good - loads of space on sons desk so he
will get a knock em dead crt (which can be had for unbelieveably goods
prices now) on the new PC. The rest of the k75a machine has plenty of life
in it for word/office type stuff so its seems the best joint solution to
go down this path for both machines. am always willing to listen to ideas
though.

What graphics card to get ? I have no idea. anyone running a tft off this
mobo ?
Current board in an nVidia GeForce4 MX 440 so rtaher than have to totally
remove all traces
of nvidia software (a tricky business I gather), I would much prefer an
nvidia solution.

TIA

Steve
