I had problem realizing guarantee for 9 months old abit ic7-max3 mainboard,
first of all this is 2 abit mainboard that end dead after less than year and
ic7 max3 was greate i realy was ok with it.

1 st problem was north bridge cooler, it stoped cooling after 2 months and i
installed coolermaster replacment, no problem thre but noone told me in
service to save nb coler becouse you cant get quarantee if you dont hawe it!
(ok sounds normal but that is something that should be writen in manual!!!)

It took me 2 weeks to find max3 cooler and they refused to send it to me
from abit, i dont know why but i hawe explained what was the problem, but
with no luck at all.

After 4 weeks without my mainboard (thank good for hp laptop) thing is that
i cant get ic7-max replacment, distributor i not offering me abit at all...

Ok i realy wont to get my pc up and running so i will say yes to everything
and they have offerd me ASUS p4800 delux, which is ok mainboard but not good
as ic7-max3.

I dont know what to say, max3 is discontinued product, no replacment board,
and no board form ABIT at all. Nice.

I dont know whos fault is this...

That was your mistake - to replace the NB-cooler yourself.
Back then, you should have contacted Abit or the shop where you bought
it, and followed their advice about it (if it made sense).

the shop where i bought MB told me its ok to replace the NB cooler, didnt
tell me to save the original one, i have own IT company so i have expirience
with hardware (no problems installing NB coler or using something that is
not good enaugh). My mistake was that i was to lazy to disconect everything
pull out mb and take it to them :(
