If you have not written any new file since you erased the photo, you
may be able to recover them using some undelete programs. If you have
used the memory card since the erasure, the files may not be
recoverable.

There are a number of good programs to accomplish this. I've used one
called PhotoRescue.

They don't go into the recycle bin, but you may be bale to recover them form
the card, as others have said.

The answer is definitely Yes. No matter the photos are erased by means of direct delete or Shift+Del, even format, the photos are still recoverable. It is simply removed from the directory of files in the folder in your memory card. Even though you can no longer see the file in the folder, its contents still exist 100% intact at this point.As long as a file remains there it can easily be restored in its entirety, with no problem at all. And the most effective way to recover photos is by trying some photo recovery or picture recovery software on the market. Or photo recovery for Mac if you are mac users. You may also check this article to learn more about 3 ways to recover deleted photos from memory card.
Note: no matter what programs you take, before your erased photos are recovered, do not save more files to the memory card and put the card in safe places in case any emergency happens.
