They finally got those Cell processors to work! Yay... Pity that are bascially just 8 FPUs tied to a single ALU, kinda makes for unbalanced performance.

the bbc seem to have it all wrong there.

its based on opteron and cell chips and wasnt designed by ibm but was designed in conjunction with them. its very misleading on behalf of the bbc... still that cell is a beast!
