Thanks for the reply. I was at my son's house this weekend when I
posted this request. Passed your reply on to him since I do not have
access to his machine now that I am home.

Anyway, the operating system is Windows 2000. The form factor for the
system unit in question is a tower maybe about 2/3 as high as the
"standard" or full-size tower. I think the machine is in the 2000-2001
era time frame.
