if you are meaning the videos (not renderized) are blurred, that is more than normal, because they are in a lower resolution, 24 fps, and sometimes your game version may have lowered these videos quality for small file size?

this have nothing to do with the video card, (if you are meaning about those VIDEOS like the ones he is at WAR);

is this a legit version of the game? crackers often reduce the quality of pre-rendered videos in order to keep the size down.

otherwise I'd say that your integrated gpu might be not enough, on full settings the game is not shy to use your hardware full force.

as for evidence book, what exactly is unclear? the fonts are probably the only thing that's not aliased, everything else is made look "authentic old" and therefore blurry.

any ways, if he is playing on legit version, the pre-rendered videos have less quality than the in rendered videos (specially if he is playing at 1920x1080 or more);

the gpu usage on those videos is 2% so the gpu power doesn't mean nothing, the only thing that could do those videos worst, is installing wrong video codecs.

yes, and because if those videos are pre-rendered (aka video file) it's possible to re-encode it at lesser quality so it takes up less space. This is a common practice, which is why I asked whether this is a cracked game.

reason I mention his gpu is that I have no confirmation whether those "cut scenes" are prerendered or use in-game engine and render in real-time. (the latter has been a common practice since, oh hell, probably once PS2 came out)

Sounds like the monitor isn't at it's native resolution. This can easily make things look blurry.

Also, console port. Ugh.

Read this on a forum:

" I ended up uninstalling the "AMD Media Foundation Decoders" that came with the Catalyst software, and that did the trick.

If you have an AMD graphics card, you might give it a shot.

I posted this solution elsewhere just today, so I'll just paste the steps here (in case it's not obvious how):

1. Run AMD Catalyst installation (11.12 or even 12.1 preview works fine)

2. Choose the uninstall option

3. Choose the "custom" option

4. Select the check box next to AMD Media Foundation Decoders
and uninstall

If that won't work, someone else said they had success with adjusting the "mipmap" quality settings for their graphics driver, but that wasn't an option in my case. "

Try this for intel graphics:

Guys I got the solution..All you need to do is upgrade your video card drivers..if you are having computer manufacturer's driver installed in your computers/laptops, then I would recommend you all to uninstall them and download & install the updated drivers for ur laptop from Intel's website..it worked for me

You should also definitely consider a discrete GPU if you plan to do much gaming.
