[Solved] How is Skyrim running for everyone with patch 1.4?

I was curious if the patch resolved issues for the majority of people? I know that it enhanced my performance and enabled me to disable the various mods I was using to get better performance. I am now down to texture mods and a few game enhancing mods such as the blacksmithing enhancements, etc.

Looking forwad to the "special surprise" (official high res texture pack) that is being released today a long side with the creation kit.

Can anyone confirm on high res texture pack? Did it happen or was it something else?

Patch 1.4 worked well until...

I was strolling around outside of Riften, and out of the sky

Yes it's confirmed. Downloading it via steam right now.

It along with the workshop files is ~ 3.2 gigs.

lmao, I guess that vid was made to reflect the happiness about the CK finally being out

if anyone has any opinion on bethesda's HR pack and community made HR packs, drop a line.

It's a bit hard to discern the high resolution pack from Bethesda with so many other amazing texture mods already in place. lol I'll report back once I play a bit more.

awesome screens, exactly what I was looking for.
the improvement is most noticeable on all those stone surfaces, I'm holding off on doing the update till the servers are able to give me that 1mb download rate.

The improvents are sutle but its still a good improvent imo.

TBF I welcome any free improvments, they are surporting the PC version after lauch which is more than can be said about some devs/pubs...Rocksteady I'm looking at you.
