Hello,
I have my ps3 trying to connect to a HP 2011x from hdmi to dvi with a dvi adapter and the image is just static except for the top inch of the screen i can see. My screen in HDCP comatible and i have my laptop connected the same way to the screen and works fine. I have tried resetting the display settings and it still does the same thing. what could be the problem because its not the cable or adapter because i use that with my laptop and works fine. thanks

could be that your ps3 is set to a higher resolution than the hp monitor can support--thats a 1600 x 900 monitor i
