Hey guys!
So recently i built myself a brand new PC here are the specs

CPU: Intel i7 2600k
PSU: 750 W
MB: P8Z68-V LX
Graphics Card: nvidia GTX 560
RAM: 16 gig (4x4) 1600mghz Patriot Memory
CPU fan: Cooler Master

So yeah pretty much i have more or less the exact same stuff as a friend of mine, i have a better graphics card, and motherboard. Yet i get FPS lag when i play wow on no matter what resolution. When he can run it on ULTRA graphics and get no lag at all. (The game is WoW btw).

Help guys, what do?

How does your fps change when you reduce the veiw distance?
Does this happen all the time?
Does this happen on other games?
What fps are you ACTUALLY getting?
When do you get low FPS?
Is this a fresh version of wow or is it full of addons?
Do you use any mods for wow? (character mods etc)
Are you running any 3rd party software for your gfx, (asus smart doctor/gamer OSD will gimp your fps severly)

Please help limit the possible factors, disable all addons and progressively increase your graphics settings, try and see when it hits breaking point (key point being veiw distance).

Further question, do you keep your pc upto date? (mainly graphics driver).

It happens mainly when im in a place with lots of people
I havent checked on other games so far, havent had time to install any others
when i mean low fps i mean like 2-7 fps
Usual fps when im not doing anything big is around 60 fps
I only use addons, not too many though
im running asus smart doctor

remove asus smart doctor and gamer OSD, it does not understand wow.

Once you remove it your FPS will return back to normal (I had the same issue when using my gtx295), it took me ******* hours to figure it out :-)

Technically you can get away with only removing gamer osd but that causes smart doctor to fail as gamer osd is a required component.

:-) congrats and enjoy gaming.

Do i remove it or just exit the program?

Your will need to remove it ideally, you can disable it via MSconfig on startup but in all honesty it actually have no use.

You can use MSI afterburner for the clocking and fan speed utility and gamer OSD is utterly useless.
