The link I posted about Valve voice actors working on Half Life: Episode 3 was a little more interesting.

remember that valve employee saying that valve is trolling the consumers? I think he was the one trolling, they just want to try to control the heat, because I bet you my ass some fanatics will try to hack valve servers just to see if there's any HL3 contect they can find.

AntiZig is right about Valve keeping a tight lid on things. Anything so far is just speculation.

1-3 is nothing new so far and webhallen doesn't provide any clarity on the rumours available thus far. No need to get angsty with people that tell you that your thread is old news

Well he didn't tell me that. I posted some info that I myself found interesting since I've never heard any confirmation of any sort from Valve regarding HL3's (non)existence. I didn't state anything else.
I then asked if anyone had seen something similar on some other site. In other words I was providing a small tidbit and asking for further info. Hawkeye22 actually read my post so that's what he did... gave me some info.

gothems finest how ever chose to tell us that others info is uninteresting (ok, fair enough but that wasn't exactly the point here) while his own (which he didn't even provide a link to) was...(!) Swell info. And he got a chance to pat himself on the back as well.

If you don't find a comment like that irittating AntiZig then so be it. You're entitled to your own opinion. But so am I.

So in other words you're saying this:

#1 You've heard of other "trusted" sources (Webhallen is such a "trusted" source) state that HL3 is in the making.
#2-3 Other sites seem to have received some kind of info about HL3's release along with some kind of date.

So do you have any links to those other sites either posting the game for reservation or otherwise "confirming" the excistance of HL3?

Yes I know Webhallen doesn't provide any confirmed clarity but it sure as hell (unless someone is pulling their leg) does provide some "confirmation" regarding HL3 actually existing... which in the light of for instance the HL3 t-shirt where the game ended up more or less debunked by Valve gives you a counter perspective to the "trolling/denial" of Valve. Webhallen is actually posting it as HL3 - not HL2:EP3 or something else. And you can reserve a copy of it.

What ever. All Webhallen is saying is that you can now reserve your copy of the game as well as that further information regarding the exact price and release date of the game will be announced shortly by the site.

I don't know if this is significant or not but considering people almost pooped their pants over the t-shirt I thought some might find it interesting.

You are too sensitive and over emotional. Its a forum, get a thicker skin if you're offended, and maybe a bigger brain if you want to actually be useful.

Please don't go off topic by getting into a flame war. One man's trash is another man's treasure. As you are tought in school and home, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all. Sure, some of you find the information uninteresting, but others might not. There's no need to go on and point out that the info is useless unless you can back it up and do it in a non-hateful way.

We're all here to benefit from each other, not bash each other.

My message was meant for everyone, not singling you out. I'm sure a lot of people would love to know if a HL3 or a HL:Ep3 is in the works and when it will be released. Hopefully someone can find some more useful information.
