like 40 percent of the time when i go to the option where it says skills map magic etc it wont let me select one unless i back out, move around a little and go to those again. same with the quests and save part too. it is really annoying especially when im in battle. Is this a glitch?

yes, pretty rare too as skyrim is usually pretty bullet proof. could have been an error with how the game installed-- you could try reinstalling but you would loose your stuff.

The game could be autosaving. I have noticed this happening from time to time, but almost always see the message in the top left when it does.
