  1. By buying it since we don't give out warez here...
  2. This is precisely, and definitively why I posed that question. I was informed by the best sales people in this field, that it was no longer procurable, even from overseas. Hence the request for any information obtainable, on any pertinent site that may prevail in this area. As far as I could discern concerning warez, they no longer list Lemmings by crisp in their catalogue. Could there, therefore be any other site that would qualify?
  3. www.abandonia.com ? or www.gog.com ? although the latter wont be "free". but if the game isn't abandonware then you aren't legally going to get it free anyway :p
  4. Thank you very much for your time, and assistance, however I had no success at either site, and may just have to commit it to the unobtainable box.
  5. strange, since at abandonia there are multiple versions of lemmings including the christmas special. i assumed you were referring to the OLD game when you said "original" ?
  6. http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/37/Lemmings.html

or for the bunch of them

unless lemmings BY CRISP is something completely different. then i'm just being stupid.

The specials were a series of short games listed as Xmas Lemmings 1991, Xmas Lemmings 1992, and Xmas Holiday/Lemmings 1994, issued in those years. However, they were smaller versions of the original Lemmings made for Commodore Amiga, and designed by DMA Design, {Now Rockstar North.} and published by Psygnosis. Crisp has taken this original format with 4 different stages, and 10 games in each stage, now called DHTML Lemmings, with the stages called, "Fun," "Tricky," "Taxing," and "Mayhem," and placed them on a "Play on the Net only" situation. Now I had this format about 10 years ago, in one of my elder Tin Cans. {Oh, alright PCs.} It was downloadable at the time, but appears not to be found anywhere now. I iterate that which I stated in one of my earlier emails, that the people who can purchase these games from overseas told me that it was now no longer available. Hence, this was why I was looking for a possible download from the net, still free, naturally, as a preference. Without unnecessary extended detail, I am on the Disability Benefit, and 66 years of age. This unreservedly diminishes my fiscal capacities, thus the original request was for the free original by crisp. Can you help me find this original that is a free product? Thank you.

By the way, thank you for both of those threads for Lemmings of a varied assortment. Now, I'd have to say that I'm not completely ofay with extractions, but that is what the first thread offered. I tried all of the options, none of which would open to the original game. The alternative options all were less than 1MB. The original game is just a tad more than considerably larger in that category. So, unless there's a further option of an increased magnitude, then I'm afraid that I'm still at a loss as to where to go next. Incidentally The Xmas series are available on the net, and so are some bastardized versions in 3D, but nothing like the original of 1991 which crisp alone seems to have captured.
