I have narrowed my decision to these three notebooks, however Im not swayed on exactly which one to choose... Im looking for something that will be a "do all" slamming machine... I play ALOT of very graphic heavy games, as well as do alot of "work" type stuff IE database work and such... the three notebooks Im looking at are:

Inspiron XPS Gen 2
Intel® Pentium® M 770 Processor (2.13GHz/533MHz FSB), Microsoft® Windows®
geforce 6800 ultra

CyberPower's Xplorer X7-9000 with the 3.8ghz chip and geforce 6800

Hypersonic Aviator EX7 with the 3.8ghz chip and geforce 6800

Help me make a decision so I can get an order started... price/size and weight are not an option.. I just want the best route to go for power and mobility.

I noticed the dell outpaced all the others in graphics by a HUGE margain, but what about the rest of the system, and the overall perforamance?

Thanks,

Shane :)

All of those have power, none of them have good mobility. The second 2 in fact have 0 mobility. They are simply portable, not mobile. Mobility sort of implies how well they work away from all wires. The second 2 are mainly for use on AC only, you "might" get 30-40min of battery out of them if they are idle. That new XPS is a step in the right direction with its Pentium M processor. Of those 3 definatly get the XPS. Its battery life will be better than its predicessors but w/ that 6800ultra I doubt it is by much.

That XPS looks awesome. The "M" chips are great and get more work done per clock. The "ULTRA" is awesome as well. I'd bet cash that the XPS benches the highest in game benchmarks. It was $500 off last time I looked. The other 2 might be faster for encoding audio or video but the XPS is a killer game machine.

Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire.
