Now that 98/SE is officially unsupported, how long will it be do you think before manufac eg. Nvidia, Asus, Intel, AMD, etc, stop supporting 98 operation with there new CPU's, M/boards and G/Cards, etc.

There are still people running Pentium and AMD K6 Processors with EDO RAM. Would you recommend an upgrade to XP with such a system?

I have win2k server on P200-Pro SCSI setup with a whoopping 192MB of EDO, runs like a dream (boots up foverer though;) XP can't even be considered on sucha "system", gg.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...
