Foldable Full-Size Keyboard for Wireless Phones

Pecking out email or SMS messages on a cell phone can be a painstaking process. In fact, even entering the names and numbers of contacts can be a chore. Motorola thinks it has a solution that will salve your frayed nerves in its iBoard keyboard - a gadget that folds up small enough to fit in your pocket or briefcase yet unfolds to become a full-sized keyboard that you can connect to your cell phone. Today, Nextel Communications let us know that it will be making the iBoard available to customers who use the Nextel i85s and i50sx wireless phones by Motorola. The iBoard has function keys that help you to use Nextel's Internet-ready phone operations. Using the keys, you can access Nextel Wireless Web services, launch applications such as the date book and note pad, activate the speakerphone, turn off the phone, and adjust the phone's volume. The portable iBoard keyboard is currently available for $99.95. Wish someone would come up with a full-size foldable keyboard that would hook up to laptops.
